SABAI releases “Landslide” in collaboration with RUNN
Kicking off 2023 with a bang, Vancouver-based producer SABAI unleashes his first new music of the year with “Landslide.” Featuring singer-songwriter and vocal producer RUNN, the track is an emotional gut-punch that sees RUNN’s stunning vocals shining over SABAI’s melodic bass production.
“The idea of Landslide is that you’re falling for someone and just like a landslide, you can’t stop,” says SABAI. “The problem with these feelings is that it comes at a time when you realize this person isn’t the person for you – despite being there for them and opening yourself up, they love somebody else. I’ve been wanting to work with RUNN for a very long time. We are so proud of Landslide and can’t wait to play this song out live!”
Adds RUNN,
“Landslide was really inspired by the slippery slope that is loving someone who doesn’t love you back. It’s hopeless and beautiful and out of control. You can’t really help yourself when you’re caught up in your feelings and before you know it you’re falling and there’s no way back up.”
